All accounts operate in a simulated trading environment using demo accounts with real CME pricing. The models differ in profit targets, loss limits, consistency rules, and contract sizing, giving traders the flexibility to choose a program that matches their approach.
Simulated Trading Environment
FundedNext Futures provides simulated trading challenges using demo accounts. While the environment uses real CME pricing and market conditions, all execution occurs on simulated accounts rather than live exchange accounts.
Rapid Challenge
The Rapid model uses end-of-day trailing loss limits that lock at the starting balance once you hit the profit target. No consistency rule applies during the Challenge.

Legacy Challenge
Legacy uses end-of-day trailing loss limits that lock at the starting balance. A 40% consistency rule applies during the Challenge Phase, and Legacy FundedNext Accounts require 5 benchmark days before withdrawal.

Bolt Challenge
Bolt is a $50K-only product. It uses a fixed daily aggregate loss limit and a trailing MLL that locks at starting balance + $100. The daily loss limit includes floating losses, closed losses, commissions and fees - hitting it creates a soft breach that disables trading for the rest of the day. A 40% consistency rule applies during the Challenge.

Flex Challenge New
Flex is FundedNext's most affordable one-time-fee model. It uses lower profit targets, an EOD trailing drawdown, no daily loss limit, and no buffer rule. A 40% consistency rule applies only during the Challenge Phase - not on the FundedNext Account. A 90% Reward Split Add-On is available for $14.99 (50K), $24.99 (100K) or $34.99 (150K).

Consistency Rule by Model
The 40% consistency rule limits the highest single-day profit to 40% of total profit. How it applies depends on the model and the stage.
| Model | Challenge Phase | FundedNext Account |
|---|---|---|
| Rapid | No consistency rule | 40% rule applies before withdrawal |
| Legacy | 40% rule applies | No consistency rule |
| Bolt | 40% rule applies | No consistency rule |
| Flex | 40% rule applies | No consistency rule |
Benchmark Days
No benchmark day requirements during the Challenge Phase. Legacy and Flex FundedNext Accounts require at least 5 benchmark days before withdrawal eligibility. A benchmark day is $100 profit for a $25K Legacy account, $200 for $50K and $100K Legacy/Flex accounts, and $250 for $150K Flex.
Best Suited For
Futures traders who want a choice between four challenge models with different risk profiles. Flex suits cost-conscious traders looking for the lowest one-time fee, Rapid and Legacy suit traders who prefer trailing loss limits, and Bolt offers a tighter daily aggregate loss structure.
How the Challenges Work
To pass a FundedNext Futures challenge, you need to reach the profit target for your chosen model while staying within the loss limits. The MLL is end-of-day based, updates once daily, moves up with profit, and never moves down with losses. Rapid and Legacy MLLs lock at the starting balance; Bolt and Flex lock at starting balance + $100.
You can trade both mini and micro contracts. The mini-to-micro ratio differs by model: Bolt 1:3, Rapid 1:5, Legacy 1:10, and Flex 1:10. Contract limits are fixed and do not increase with profit.
All positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT each trading day - any positions left open are auto-closed. Trading resumes at 5:00 PM CT, and after the weekend trading resumes Sunday at 5:00 PM CT. EAs and bots are allowed on both the Challenge Phase and FundedNext Accounts, but HFT, latency abuse, order flooding and similarly exploitative strategies are prohibited.
Futures Trading Rules
FundedNext has a detailed set of trading restrictions aimed at keeping the evaluation realistic. These rules apply during both the challenge and funded stages unless noted.
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| EAs & Bots | Allowed on both Challenge and FundedNext Accounts. Trader is responsible for setup and technical issues - FundedNext does not provide setup support |
| HFT & Exploitative Automation | HFT, latency abuse, order flooding and similar exploitative strategies are prohibited and may lead to account termination. Automated systems are monitored at HFT-like speeds |
| Copy Trading | Copying between your own FundedNext accounts is allowed. Copying between FundedNext and another prop firm is allowed only if you own all accounts and the name matches. Group trading, signal services, copying another person, and coordinated trading are prohibited |
| Micro-Scalping | Profitable trades closed within 10s count as micro-scalping. At 30% of recorded profit a warning is issued; at 40%+ Challenge progression is held until the percentage drops. On FundedNext Accounts the micro-scalping profit for that cycle is deducted |
| Hedging | Cannot hedge across multiple accounts or use correlated instruments to reduce exposure artificially |
| DCA & Overleveraging | Adding to losing trades without clear structure is not allowed; position sizing must reflect controlled risk |
| Price Limit Rule | If a contract moves within 2% of the CME price limit, trading that instrument must stop for the day |
| Overnight Holding | All positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT each trading day. Auto-closed if left open. Trading resumes 5:00 PM CT, Sunday 5:00 PM CT after the weekend - no overnight trades |
| Order Manipulation | Spoofing, layering, DOM manipulation, and wash trading are banned |
| News Trading | Allowed on both Challenge and FundedNext Accounts - no news trading restrictions, though traders should manage volatility risk |
Futures Account Allocation
Maximum Challenge allocation is $700,000, and traders can purchase up to 15 Challenges per month. FundedNext Accounts are capped at 5 active accounts per user/household. Contract limits are fixed and do not scale with profit - if you want more contracts, you size up by funding a larger account.
Bolt FundedNext Accounts keep the same 3 minis / 9 micros limit as the Challenge. Rapid scales up from Challenge to FN Account (e.g. $100K Rapid goes from 5/25 in Challenge to 7/35 in FN Account), and Legacy scales similarly (e.g. $100K Legacy goes from 5/50 to 7/70). Flex keeps the same limits across both stages.
Verdict on Challenges and Rules
FundedNext Futures now offers four distinct challenge models. Flex opens up a low-cost one-time-fee path with EOD trailing drawdown and no daily loss limit, while Rapid and Legacy offer trailing MLLs and Bolt adds a tighter daily aggregate structure. EAs and bots are now allowed across all models on both Challenge and FundedNext Accounts, with HFT and exploitative automation still prohibited. All positions must be closed by 3:10 PM CT, and the rule set is clear and well-defined.

Financial Markets & Leverage
FundedNext Futures gives traders access to a focused range of CME Group products, covering the major futures asset classes: currencies, equity indices, metals, energy, and agriculture. The selection is built around high-volume contracts that most traders already prioritize.
Both mini and micro contract sizing are available. The mini-to-micro ratio differs by model: Bolt 1:3, Rapid 1:5, Legacy 1:10, and Flex 1:10.
CME FX
Major currency pairs are available through CME FX contracts including 6A (Australian Dollar), 6B (British Pound), and 6E (Euro FX). A clean lineup for directional currency positioning in a structured, exchange-based environment.
CME Equity Indices
Coverage spans the big four US indices with both standard and micro versions: NQ / MNQ (Nasdaq), ES / MES (S&P 500), RTY / M2K (Russell 2000), and YM / MYM (Dow). These are among the most actively traded futures globally and are ideal for intraday trading.
COMEX Metals
Gold (GC / MGC), copper (HG) and silver (SI) are available. These give you access to momentum and mean-reversion setups around macro news and commodity flows.
NYMEX Energy
Crude oil (CL / MCL), natural gas (NG) and RBOB gasoline (RB) are included. Crude in particular is popular among futures traders due to its volatility and clean technical structure.
CBOT Agriculture
Corn (ZC), soybeans (ZS) and wheat (ZW) round out the list. These are niche markets, but good to have if you want to diversify around seasonal and fundamental catalysts.
Contract Sizing
Each model has its own mini-to-micro ratio. The table below summarises the Challenge-stage limits for each account size.
| Model / Size | Challenge Limits | FN Account Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Bolt $50K | 3 minis / 9 micros | 3 minis / 9 micros |
| Rapid $25K / $50K / $100K | 2/10, 3/15, 5/25 | 3/15, 5/25, 7/35 |
| Legacy $25K / $50K / $100K | 2/20, 3/30, 5/50 | 3/30, 5/50, 7/70 |
| Flex $50K / $100K / $150K | 3/30, 5/50, 8/80 | 3/30, 5/50, 8/80 |
Contract limits are fixed and do not increase with profit. If you want to trade more contracts, you size up by funding a larger account, not by scaling an existing one.
Verdict on Markets
FundedNext Futures offers a streamlined but well-structured product lineup. It focuses on high-liquidity CME contracts that suit most trading styles, and includes both mini and micro options for flexible sizing. The mix of markets is strong enough to support everything from index scalping to energy trend trading. While it's not the widest selection in the prop industry, all the essential categories are covered.
Trading Platforms
FundedNext Futures supports three trading platforms: Tradovate, NinjaTrader, and TradingView. Traders can select the platform that best matches their workflow when purchasing a Challenge.
Tradovate
Web and mobile-first futures platform with cloud-based execution, fast order entry and a clean DOM ladder. Built specifically for futures traders.
NinjaTrader
Desktop platform widely used by futures traders, with advanced order flow tooling, deep charting, market replay, and a robust ecosystem of third-party indicators and strategies.
TradingView
Browser-based charting and execution with strong technical analysis, drawing tools, custom Pine Script indicators, and a social community. Useful for chart-driven traders.
EAs and Automation
EAs and bots are allowed on both the Challenge Phase and on FundedNext Accounts. FundedNext does not provide setup support and traders remain responsible for technical issues. HFT, latency abuse, order flooding and other exploitative strategies are still prohibited.
Verdict on Platforms
FundedNext Futures supports the three platforms most futures traders are already familiar with - Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView. EAs and bots are allowed on both stages, which makes it suitable for both discretionary and automated traders.

Customer Service & Education
Support is one area where FundedNext Futures has prioritized responsiveness from day one. Traders have access to 24/7 live support, making it easy to resolve issues quickly, whether it's account access, platform problems, or questions about trading rules.
Customer Support
Live chat is the fastest way to get help. It's built into the FundedNext website and available around the clock. You simply choose "Futures" from the options, describe your issue, and a support agent will assist you directly. For more complex queries or anything requiring documentation, you can email the FundedNext Futures team.
Response times are fast, and support staff are familiar with both the challenge structure and futures-specific questions. That's important for traders working across different time zones or facing time-sensitive issues during trading hours.

Educational Materials
The Futures Help Centre now covers platforms, rules, payouts, KYC and each challenge model in detail. There's no dedicated futures learning portal yet, but the operational guidance is comprehensive and answers most rule and account questions.
FundedNext has a history of building out community-driven content through Discord and YouTube under its CFD division, and it's likely the futures side will follow the same path as the brand grows.
Verdict on Support and Education
FundedNext Futures offers strong customer support with true 24/7 coverage through live chat and email. The Futures Help Centre has filled out considerably with detailed FAQ sections for platforms, rules, payouts, KYC and challenge models, even if a structured learning portal isn't there yet.
Trust & Community
FundedNext Futures is a division of the established FundedNext brand. It provides simulated trading challenges using demo accounts with real CME pricing. While the futures arm is still growing its own identity, it benefits from the systems, support, and reputation already built by FundedNext's core operation.
Simulated Trading Environment
FundedNext Futures is an evaluation platform, not a broker. All trading occurs in a simulated environment using demo accounts. The platform should not be confused with a regulated brokerage entity.
FundedNext Futures TrustPilot Score

New Division
As of now, FundedNext Futures doesn't have a standalone TrustPilot rating. Since it's a new division, reviews haven't yet accumulated. However, its parent brand FundedNext holds a 4.5/5 Excellent rating across 66,400+ reviews. We'll update this section once verified reviews for the futures product begin to roll in.
Trading Community
FundedNext Futures does not operate a separate community for its futures traders at this stage. Instead, traders are supported through the main FundedNext brand channels, including Discord, YouTube, and social media.
The larger FundedNext community covers a mix of futures and CFD content, but it's primarily geared around the company as a whole rather than the futures program specifically. While the futures division is new, the infrastructure is already in place for education, announcements, and community support as the trader base grows.
Restricted Countries
FundedNext Futures is available in most regions, but access is restricted in some countries due to regulatory and compliance concerns. Notably, this includes several markets like Canada, Malta, Cyprus (North), Slovenia, and Romania. Traders from these countries won't be able to participate at this time.
US Traders Welcome
Unlike many prop firms that restrict US applicants, FundedNext Futures is open to US residents who meet their basic eligibility requirements.
Verdict on Trust and Community
FundedNext Futures is a simulated trading evaluation platform backed by the established FundedNext brand. While the futures program is still developing its own community and review footprint, it benefits from FundedNext's infrastructure and reputation. The platform should not be confused with a regulated brokerage - all trading occurs in a simulated environment using demo accounts.
Overall Score for FundedNext Futures
FundedNext Futures is a simulated futures trading evaluation platform that now offers four distinct challenge models - Rapid, Legacy, Bolt, and the new Flex - each with different profit targets, loss limits, and consistency rules. Flex in particular opens up a one-time-fee path that suits traders who want EOD trailing drawdown and no daily loss limit.
The platform covers a solid range of CME Group futures including currencies, equity indices, metals, energy, and agriculture. FundedNext processes Performance Rewards within 24 hours of request and adds $1,000 to the payout if it misses that window (excluding incorrect withdrawal details or external processor delays). Standard Reward Share is 80%, upgradeable to 90% on Flex via an add-on.
EAs and bots are allowed on both Challenge and FundedNext Accounts, with HFT, latency abuse and order flooding still prohibited.
