Challenge Accounts

Tradeify currently offers three futures funding models: Growth (1-step evaluation), Lightning Funded (instant funding), and the Select Challenge (1-step evaluation with a choice of funded payout policy). The Advanced Challenge is no longer available for new purchases as of December 2025 — existing holders continue under legacy terms.

All funded accounts — Growth, Lightning, Select Flex, and Select Daily — are simulated funded accounts. Tradeify Elite Live is the real-capital live stage, issued through NinjaTrader brokerage.

1 Growth Challenge

The Growth Challenge is Tradeify's 1-step evaluation with no activation fee and monthly fees from $139 to $339 depending on account size.

This model uses end-of-day trailing drawdown, calculated only after markets close and only if your balance increases. That means you can ride through intraday drawdowns without triggering a loss, as long as your closed trades stay clean.

The minimum trading period is just one day to pass the evaluation. The reset fee is $85. For funded payouts, traders need 5 profitable trading days meeting the per-account profit threshold.

2 Lightning Funded – Instant Funding

Lightning Funded is Tradeify's instant funding option where you skip the challenge altogether. You pay a one-off fee from $349 to $729 and go straight to a simulated funded account.

Lightning payout requirements depend on account size and purchase date — it is not a flat rule for all Lightning accounts. Consistency also scales by payout number: 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second, and 30% for the third and later payouts.

Lightning payout caps depend on account size and payout number. There's no reset option — if you break a rule, you'll have to buy a new plan. The EOD trailing drawdown applies and locks once you're $100 above the drawdown level.

3 Select Challenge

The Select Challenge is Tradeify's newest 1-step evaluation. After passing, traders must choose between two funded payout policies: Select Flex or Select Daily. This choice is permanent and irrevocable for that account.

Both Select funded account types have no consistency rule, setting them apart from Growth and Lightning.

Select Flex vs Select Daily

Select Flex

  • No daily loss limit
  • 5 winning days per payout
  • 90% profit split
  • Payout caps: $3,000 / $4,000 / $5,000 by account size
  • No consistency rule

Select Daily

  • Buffer system for risk management
  • $250 minimum payout
  • Payouts on any trading day if Daily Continuity Rule is met
  • 90% profit split
  • No consistency rule

Permanent Choice

After passing the Select Challenge, you must choose between Select Flex or Select Daily. This decision is permanent and irrevocable for that account — choose carefully based on your trading style.

Tradeify Elite Live — Real-Capital Stage

Tradeify Elite Live is the real-capital live trading stage, separate from all simulated funded accounts. Elite Live accounts are issued through NinjaTrader brokerage.

Monthly Billing Warning

If you fail a challenge but forget to cancel, your monthly billing continues. That's on you to manage. Reset options are available for a fee, but only during the challenge phase — not after funding.

Verdict on Futures Challenges

Tradeify's three current models each serve different trading styles. Growth offers a forgiving EOD trailing drawdown evaluation. Lightning Funded skips the wait for experienced traders, with consistency scaling by payout number. The Select Challenge adds genuine flexibility by letting traders choose their funded payout policy — Flex or Daily — with no consistency rule on either. The Advanced Challenge is legacy-only, which simplifies the current lineup. All funded accounts are simulated, with Tradeify Elite Live as the real-capital stage via NinjaTrader brokerage.

Commission Fees & Pricing

While your challenge fee gets you through the door, Tradeify's real trading costs start once you're active in the markets. All positions run through Tradovate, a futures broker tied into the CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX, and other major exchanges.

That means you're dealing with genuine market prices — but there are still platform fees, commissions, and optional add-ons you need to factor in.

Commission Fees

Rate Type

Flat (all assets)

Tradeify charges a flat $1.29 per side, which comes out to $2.58 round turn per contract. This rate stays the same across all asset classes. It's not tiered and doesn't change based on your account type or volume. Tradeify doesn't mark up spreads or add hidden margins — your trades go straight to regulated futures exchanges via Tradovate.

Exchange & Regulatory Fees

These vary by contract and are included in your all-in pricing. Higher-cost instruments like Bitcoin futures can cost more, while something like Micro Ether is one of the cheapest options.

Verdict on Futures Pricing

Tradeify's pricing is upfront, but it adds up fast. While the base commission is fair and standard for futures, once you tack on exchange fees and optional data tools, your cost per trade can grow. There are no nasty surprises or hidden charges, but if you're trading higher-ticket contracts or want full market depth, expect to spend a bit more each month.

Financial Markets & Leverage

Tradeify gives you access to all major regulated U.S. futures markets through CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX. All trades are routed through Tradovate, so there's no synthetic pricing or internal liquidity — what you see is what the market sees.

You can trade financials, energies, metals, agriculturals, and even crypto futures, but contract limits and sizing rules apply based on your account level.

You can also access micro versions of most contracts, which are cheaper to trade and useful for scaling. EUREX instruments are available too, but only if you activate an optional add-on for data and exchange access. There's no restriction on which assets you can trade across the different challenge models.

Account SizeStandard ContractsMicro Contracts
$25,000550
$50,000770
$100,00010100
$150,00015150

These limits apply to total open contracts across all instruments, not per position. You can scale into a trade with multiple micros or mix instruments, but you can't exceed the cap. Hedging across correlated contracts also counts toward the total.

Verdict on Futures Markets

Tradeify gives you real access to real futures markets, not synthetic versions. There's a solid mix of instruments across asset classes, and you're not limited to micros unless you choose to be. The only knock is that EUREX requires a separate data subscription, but otherwise there's strong depth and flexibility across the board.

Trading Platforms

Tradeify gives you access to real exchange trading via three major platforms: Tradovate, TradingView, and NinjaTrader. All execution is routed through Tradovate since it's the underlying brokerage. Your trading experience depends on which interface you prefer, but the backend stays consistent across the board.

Tradovate

The default and most seamless platform for Tradeify users. It's web-based, runs well on mobile, and includes fast DOM execution, hotkeys, and simple order management. Level 1 market data is included for free; Level 2 (DOM) requires the $16/month data package or the $41/month bundle.

Recommended: Easiest choice for most users — no external licensing or platform installs needed.

TradingView

Connects to your Tradeify-funded account via Tradovate's backend. Mostly used for charting and order placement, not DOM scalping. Perfect if you prefer TradingView's indicators, alerts, or visual interface.

Clean and flexible, but less suited to high-frequency or DOM-heavy traders.

NinjaTrader

Fully supported but requires self-setup. Desktop only with a licensed install. If you want custom indicators, ATM strategies, or automated execution, NinjaTrader provides that — but there's a learning curve and extra cost involved. NinjaTrader brokerage also issues Tradeify Elite Live accounts.

Execution still routes through Tradovate — you're using a different interface, not bypassing the broker.

Verdict on Trading Platforms

Tradeify's platform offering is strong. Tradovate handles most needs out of the box, TradingView adds excellent charting, and NinjaTrader gives power users full control. The only drawback is that NinjaTrader setup isn't plug-and-play, but if you're at that level, you probably know the tradeoff.

Payments & Profit Payout

Payout rules at Tradeify depend on the funded account type. Each type — Growth, Lightning, Select Flex, and Select Daily — has its own payout structure, requirements, and caps. All sim funded accounts pay a 90% profit split. Tradeify Elite Live pays 90% on starting balance withdrawals and 80% on profits above starting balance.

Challenge Fee Payments

You can only pay using a debit or credit card — Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are all accepted. No crypto, no PayPal, and no bank transfer options available at the moment. If you fail a challenge but forget to cancel, your monthly billing continues.

Payout Processing

Payouts are processed through third-party services like Rise Pay and Plane Payouts. Before your first withdrawal, you'll need full verification including ID checks, proof of address, and sometimes a selfie or video confirmation. Once verified, payouts usually land within 24 hours on business days. Weekend submissions can take up to 72 hours.

Tradeify Elite Live Transition

Tradeify may assess traders for Elite Live after 5 payouts. Automatic transition happens at $80,000 combined user payouts across sim funded accounts. Elite Live pays 90% on starting balance withdrawals and 80% on profits above starting balance.

Verdict on Payments and Payouts

Tradeify's payout structure is more nuanced than most prop firms, with each funded type having its own rules. The 90% profit split is competitive across the board. Select Flex and Select Daily add genuine flexibility — especially Select Daily's ability to request payouts on any trading day. Processing within 24–72 hours is solid for the futures prop firm space.

You won't get direct DM access to staff, but the community is one of the more active futures prop firm communities in the space.

Restricted Countries

Tradeify blocks access to a long list of countries due to compliance and broker restrictions. These fall into two categories:

Fully Restricted

Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Botswana, Burundi, Cambodia, Cuba, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen, Zimbabwe — and other sanctioned or high-risk regions.

Sim-Only Access (No Live Funding)

Canada (Ontario), China, Hong Kong, South Korea, UAE, South Africa, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, Morocco, Lebanon, Nigeria, Philippines, Jordan, Qatar, Namibia — these can purchase evaluations and access Sim Funded accounts, but are not eligible for Live Funded status.

VPN Warning

VPN usage is discouraged and may trigger KYC or payout delays. Tradeify checks all accounts at verification, so if you're ineligible, you'll find out before you reach a funded level.

Verdict on Trust and Community

Tradeify has built a strong reputation with 80,000+ traders and $110M+ in verified payouts. The 4.7/5 Trustpilot score from 1,800+ reviews is solid, and Elite Live accounts through NinjaTrader brokerage add credibility. The long list of restricted countries shuts out a decent chunk of traders, but overall Tradeify is showing up where it counts — transparent rules, real exchange access, and a strong verified track record.

Final Verdict: 82/100
